Job summary

Jobitus in Pune, Maharashtra, is seeking an experienced Sales Head to lead the sales function for automobile spare parts and lubricants. You will develop and execute strategies, guide a sales team, and build relationships with garages, retailers, and channel partners to drive revenue.

The role requires strong knowledge of genuine and aftermarket parts, as well as proven leadership and field-visit readiness. Fluency in Hindi, Marathi, and English is expected.

Responsibilities

• Sales Target: Plan and achieve monthly, quarterly and annual targets.
• Team Management: Lead, train and motivate the sales team.
• Business Development: Add Garages, Retailers, Channel Partners and Franchise Partners.
• Channel Development: Develop and strengthen the sales network across assigned territories.
• Customer Relationship: Maintain relationships with existing and key customers to generate repeat business.
• Market Development: Identify new markets and opportunities for spare parts and lubricants.
• Performance Management: Track team performance and take corrective action.
• Sales Reporting: Submit daily, weekly and monthly sales reports to management.
• Customer Escalation: Handle objections and major issues.
• Collection: Monitor customer payments and ensure adherence to guidelines.
• Sales Promotion: Implement promotions and schemes and accompany the team on meetings and visits.

• Strong knowledge of automobile car spare parts – genuine & aftermarket.
• Strong knowledge of automobile aftermarket sales and lubricants.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual targets.
• Lead, guide and motivate the sales team to achieve business targets.
• Generate new business opportunities through Garages, Retailers, Channel Partners and Franchise Partners.
• Develop and expand the company's sales channel through business partnerships.
• Manage the complete sales process from lead generation to order booking and payment collection.
• Drive sales of both genuine spare parts and Lubricants.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and channel partners.
• Identify new markets, territories and opportunities for business growth.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer requirements.
• Good communication, negotiation and leadership skills.
• Handle important customer objections and escalations and bring them to a resolution.
• Ensure customer payments are collected as per company guidelines.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide guidance to the sales team.
• Prepare and present sales reports and performance updates to management.

Candidate Profile

• Must have strong experience in automobile spare parts / aftermarket sales.
• Candidate must possess technical knowledge about car spare parts – genuine & aftermarket.
• Experience in Lubricants and Channel Sales will be preferred.
• Must have experience in managing and leading a sales team.
• Should have a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
• Strong communication, negotiation and leadership skills.
• Candidate should be comfortable with regular field visits.
• Any stream Diploma, graduate/post-graduate is fine.
• Languages known – Hindi, Marathi, and English.
