Job summary

HDFC ERGO General Insurance in Gurugram is seeking a Sales Manager - Broker with 2–5 years of experience in broker-driven motor insurance sales. The role focuses on identifying brokers, driving motor premiums, and maintaining strong broker relationships through regular follow-ups and product training.

You will coordinate with underwriting, branch operations, claims and finance teams to ensure seamless policy issuance and broker commissions. This is a permanent, on-site position in Gurugram.

Responsibilities

• Identify 5 new broker from the market and active them for Motor business.
• Ensure familiarization of the company's products, policies and sales processes to the Broker and their team members.
• Identify, communicate and agree on the premium targets with Brokers on various class of business & geographical segment
• Ensure maximum productivity from Broker on MOM basis.
• Maximize mobilization through regular follow-ups & strengthening of relationships with Brokers
• Ensure constant updating of Broker knowledge on new products and underwriting policies.
• Follow up for Private Car renewal business on day to day basis and ensure maximum renewal conversion.
• Troubleshooting with a) Underwriting team for policy approval b) Branch operations team for policy issuance c) claims team for claims settlement d) Finance team for timely disbursement of Broker commission
