Job summary

Skillventory in India is seeking a results-driven Agency Sales & Business Development professional to recruit, onboard, train, and activate a network of health insurance agents. You will build strong relationships, drive lead generation, and push for monthly and quarterly sales targets throughout the assigned territory.

The role requires expertise in health insurance products, field sales, and compliance with IRDAA guidelines, with a focus on renewals and persistency.

Qualifications

• Experience in agency sales and activation within the insurance sector.
• Proven ability to recruit, train and motivate agents/advisors.
• Strong relationship management and field sales execution skills.
• Track record of achieving monthly/quarterly sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and onboard new insurance agents/advisors as per business requirements.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with agents and continuously activate them.
• Train and motivate agents on health insurance products, processes, and sales techniques.
• Generate business through the agency network and achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets.
• Identify new market opportunities and expand the agency network in the assigned territory.
• Conduct regular meetings, field visits, and performance reviews with agents.
• Help agents with lead generation, customer meetings, product presentations, and conversions.
• Ensure proper documentation, proposal submission, and policy issuance.
• Drive new customer acquisition as well as renewals and persistency.
• Monitor agent productivity, activation, premium generation, and overall performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, IRDAA guidelines, and sales processes.
• Provide after-sales support and resolve customer/agent queries.
• Maintain regular MIS and sales reports for management.
