Job summary

Her Pursuit Chennai is seeking a results-driven professional in Chennai to leverage deep M&HCV ICE and EV knowledge for customer engagements and strategic sales initiatives. You will work closely with engineering, procurement and finance to secure opportunities and optimize pricing and profitability.

The role requires strong familiarity with OEM processes, APQP/PPAP, and ERP/CRM systems, with a focus on driving timely quotes and market insights in the commercial vehicles segment.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of M&HCV ICE and EV manufacturers in India.
• Familiarity with OEM procurement, project management and APQP/PPAP.
• Strong understanding of pricing, contracts, CRM, analytics and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers for new business opportunities and provide timely feedback.
• Monitor sales revenue and margins; take corrective actions for major variances.
• Forecast market and customer volumes.
• Coordinate with engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, plant and finance to meet requirements and ensure on-time quotes.

Role & responsibilities

• Deep knowledge of M&HCV ICE and EV manufacturers in India.
• Deep technical knowledge of Automotive systems /components and Manufacturing process.
• Familiarity with OEM Procurement, Project management and APQP/PPAP.
• Strong understanding of pricing, contracts, CRM, analytics and ERP systems
• This position will closely interact with all customers for new business opportunities and provide timely feedback on the status
• Monthly/Quarterly/Annual sales revenue and margins monitoring and corrective actions if any major variance.
• Forecasting of market and customer volumes
• Close coordination with Engineering, Purchasing, manufacturing, Plant and finance to meet customer requirements. On time quote submission and response rate.
• Monitor New program development and proto development for all CV customers
• Keeping overdue outstanding under control
• Attending weekly calls Sales, Customer Status, schedule vs dispatch, receivables, etc.
• MIS generation of various reports P files (Actual+forecast), SOB, OTIF, BSC, MOR & Sales walks, etc.
• Get timely price increase from customers for commodity and ECNs

Preferred candidate profile

• Candidates should have experience in working for commercial vehicles segment. (Mandatory)
