Qualifications

• Graduate or equivalent degree; candidates with sales/marketing background preferred.
• 2–6 years of experience in sales/marketing, preferably in building materials or construction products.
• Good knowledge of cement, steel, asbestos cement sheets, or similar building materials.
• Experience in new dealer appointments, channel sales, and rural market development.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
• Target-oriented, proactive, and capable of developing new markets independently.

Responsibilities

• Dealer Development: Identify, approach, and appoint new dealers and distributors to expand the company's market presence.
• Sales & Marketing: Promote asbestos cement sheet products and achieve assigned sales targets.
• Market Expansion: Develop business opportunities in rural and semi-urban markets.
• Building Materials Knowledge: Possess good knowledge of building materials such as cement, steel, asbestos cement sheets, and related construction products.
• Dealer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing dealers, distributors, retailers, and contractors.
• Market Research: Analyse competitor activities, market demand, pricing, and potential business opportunities.
• Field Sales: Conduct regular market visits to identify new customers, generate leads, and increase product sales.
• Sales Planning: Prepare sales plans, monitor sales performance, and ensure achievement of monthly and annual targets.
• Collections & Payments: Follow up on dealer payments, outstanding dues, and credit limits as per company policy.
• Reporting: Submit regular reports on sales performance, dealer appointments, market visits, and business development activities.
