Job summary

FRP Materials in Mumbai invites applications for a sales-support role focusing on customer enquiries, quotations, and order follow-ups. The candidate will engage via social platforms, email, and calls, ensuring timely responses and accurate quotations.

The role requires at least a graduate degree and 2 years of sales exposure; English communication is essential. Prior exposure to Tally is an advantage, with growth opportunities in a booming industry.

Qualifications

• Should have basic to good English communication.
• Minimum graduate with 2 years sales experience preferred.
• Prior knowledge of Tally would be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer requirements and provide appropriate quotations.
• Handle customer inquiries on Indiamart, JustDial, Tradeindia and other leads.
• Respond to emails and inquiries promptly.
• Follow up on order status and coordinate with dispatch for material delivery.
• Track customer dues and follow up for timely payments.
• Maintain ongoing contact with existing customers for routine needs.
• Knowledge of Tally would be beneficial.

Role & responsibilities

• 1. Understand the requirements of new customers and give them appropriate quotation;
• 2. Attend to inquiries of customers over Indiamart, JustDial, Tradeindia and other leads from other social media platforms;
• 3. Reply appropriately to all inquiries regularly received over mail;
• 4. Follow up regarding the status of order and once order is finalised, follow up regarding dispatch of the material as per the order with the dispatch team;
• 5. Tracking the outstanding amounts of the customers and following up with them for prompt and timely payments;
• 6. Timely follow up with some of the existing customers for their routine business requirements;
• 7. Prior knowledge of Tally would be added advantage;

Preferred candidate profile

• 1. Should be minimum graduate;
• 2. Prior experience of handling sales of at least 2 years would be preferred;
• 3. Should be able to converse with the customer in English. 100% Fluency in English is not required but at least the candidate should be able to talk and understand English;
