Job Objective
The Sales Engineer – South India Region will support and manage sales activities in South India to achieve company objectives, implement sales strategies, build and maintain client relationships, and ensure customer satisfaction, focusing on electricity distribution companies and turnkey contractors.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective area sales strategies to achieve targets.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with electricity distribution companies and turnkey contractors.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with potential clients.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and support.
- Support and oversee the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing deals in South India (Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, etc.).
- Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to Ensto India management.
- Manage the sales budget and ensure optimal allocation of resources.
- Maintain a good understanding of the company's low‑voltage and medium‑voltage distribution products and services.
- Stay updated with the latest industry developments and technological advancements.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients and the sales team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 01–04 years of proven experience in sales or a similar role in the electrical, electricity distribution, or related industry.
- Strong understanding of electricity distribution and related electrical products and their applications.
- Excellent leadership and team‑management skills.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make data‑driven decisions.
- Proficiency in using CRM, IFS, SAP, Teams, Office 365.
- Extensive travel to client sites.
- Preferred locations: Kerala / Bengaluru.
