Job summary

A leading industrial safety company seeks a Sales Engineer to handle sales of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in Tamil Nadu. The ideal candidate will manage direct sales activities, maintain customer relationships, and support technical needs. Candidates should have a degree in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering and 2-10 years of experience in industrial sales, preferably PPE. Proficiency in English is mandatory, while knowledge of Kannada, Telugu, and Tamil is preferred. Regular travel to meet customers is required.

Qualifications

• 2-10 years experience in Industrial sales, preferably in PPE.
• Good command over spoken and written English, with Tamil, Kannada, and Telugu preferred.
• Basic IT system knowledge including email and quotation preparation.
• Based in Hosur or surrounding areas; willing to travel across Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh & Karnataka.
• Strong techno-commercial knowledge with ability to handle lead generation, demonstrations, negotiations and closing.

Responsibilities

• Handle sales activities of Industrial safety and PPE.
• Manage customer relationships and provide support.
• Generate leads and close sales.
• Visit customers regularly and conduct trials/demonstrations on customer machines.
• Coordinate with the team and report to the Managing Director; participate in pre-sales and after-sales activities.

Sales Engineer (Industrial Safety PPE, Hosur)

• The candidate will be responsible for handling sales of Industrial safety and Personal Protective Equipment in various industrial sectors.
  
• Candidates having knowledge and experience in Industrial safety and personal protective equipment products are best fit for this position.
  
• He will be responsible for managing direct sales activities, maintaining customer relationships, providing customer
  service, technical support and driving business growth for the assigned products and territory.
• He should be familiar with industrial products such as Karam, Bison life and Utex or other similar products.
  
• Should have sound technical and commercial knowledge.
  
• Salary will be offered at par with the industry standard.
  
• He should be a team worker, collaborate with the team to achieve and exceed the company’s overall sales revenue.
  
• He will be responsible for lead generation, product presentation, demonstration, estimation, negotiation & closing of sales for the Product groups assigned to him. Including Customer Service, Order Management, payment collections, solving customer issues etc..
  
• Meet sales and collection objectives within the designated territory and oversee the profitability of the assigned product group.
  
• Should be reporting to the Managing Director and coordinating with other sales team members.
  
• Preparing commercial and technical proposals.
  
• Should be familiar with manufacturing processes and machinery used in industrial operations
  
• Should be able to manage commercial negotiations with sound techno-commercial knowledge
  
• Good command over spoken and written English(Manadtory) Kannada, Telugu & Tamil is preferred
  
• Should be responsible for conducting trials and demonstrations on customer machines and delivering effective manufacturing solutions.
  
• Visiting Customers regularly. Participate in Pre-Sales and after-sales service, trouble shooting activities to achieve high level of customer satisfaction.
