Job summary

JobItUs is seeking a technically sound Marketing Engineer / Sales Engineer to drive marketing and sales of industrial electrical products across multiple industries. You will engage with OEMs, panel builders, transformer manufacturers, bearing manufacturers, EPC contractors and other industrial customers.

You will visit customers, understand their technical requirements, prepare quotations and proposals, explain product advantages, and coordinate with design and production teams to meet customer

Qualifications

• Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong understanding of transformers, design, construction, ratings and applications.
• Strong fundamentals in electrical engineering.
• Previous experience in technical sales or industrial marketing preferred.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Willing to travel for sales and customer visits.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities and develop potential industrial customers.
• Visit customers and understand their technical requirements.
• Prepare and follow up on quotations, technical offers and commercial proposals.
• Explain our products and their technical advantages to customers.
• Follow up with customers for inquiries, quotations, negotiations and orders.
• Develop business with OEMs, panel builders, transformer manufacturers, bearing manufacturers, EPC contractors and other industrial customers.
• Maintain regular communication with existing customers and develop repeat business.
• Coordinate with the design and production teams for customer-specific technical requirements.
• Maintain sales leads, inquiry status and customer follow-up records.
• Travel for customer meetings and plant visits as required.

Products to be Handled

• LT Transformers – Control Transformers, Isolation Transformers, Lighting Transformers, Auto Transformers, etc.
• Industrial Demagnetizers – Pulsating, Tunnel and Table Type
• Bearing Induction Heaters
• Electrical Testing Equipment – High Voltage Testers, High Current Sources and other customized testing equipment

Candidate Requirements

• Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• Candidate should have a thorough understanding of transformers and their basic design, construction, ratings and applications.
• Strong fundamentals in electrical engineering subjects are essential.
• Previous experience in technical sales/industrial marketing will be preferred.
• Good spoken and written English is required.
• Good communication, presentation and customer-handling skills.
• Should be comfortable communicating with purchase teams, electrical engineers, plant maintenance teams and senior management.
• Should be willing to travel for sales and customer visits.
