You will identify and qualify prospects, discuss technically, prepare proposals, and support customers with solution design in collaboration with the engineering team. The role involves visiting client sites, understanding requirements, providing demonstrations, and ensuring timely follow‑up from inquiry to order.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of electrical panels and distribution systems.
• Ability to read single-line diagrams, control schematics, and basic PLC/VFD applications.
• Experience in industrial or infrastructure project sales.
• Skills in customer relationship management, negotiation, and consultative selling.
• Competence in preparing technical‑commercial proposals, quotations, and project documentation.
• Good communication and presentation skills in English and local languages.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Sales Engineer role based in Pune City. The Sales Engineer will engage with industrial, commercial, and infrastructure clients to promote electrical control and power panel solutions, including PCC, MCC, VFD, PLC, and custom panels. Day-to-day activities include identifying and qualifying prospects, conducting technical discussions, preparing proposals and quotations, and supporting customers with solution design in collaboration with the engineering team. The role involves visiting client sites, understanding technical requirements, providing product demonstrations, and ensuring timely follow-up from initial inquiry to order closure. The Sales Engineer will also maintain CRM records, monitor market trends, support after-sales technical queries, and contribute to achieving sales targets and business growth in the assigned territory.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of electrical panels, power distribution systems, control panels, and related components.
• Ability to understand single-line diagrams, control schematics, and basic PLC/VFD applications.
• Experience in industrial or infrastructure project sales, preferably in electrical or allied engineering domains.
• Skills in customer relationship management, negotiation, and consultative selling.
• Competence in preparing technical-commercial proposals, quotations, and project documentation.
• Good communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, in English and local languages.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools and basic CRM or sales tracking software.
• Bachelor’s or Diploma degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Ability to work on-site, travel to customer locations, and coordinate with internal technical and production teams.
• Prior experience in panel manufacturing or electrical EPC environments is an advantage.
