Job summary

Corporate Stalwarts in Ludhiana is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to drive direct sales of engineering/mechanical items to OEMs and the machine tool/packaging industry. You will read engineering drawings, engage with Pneumatic products, and develop distributor networks for the parent company.

The role focuses on field sales (50%) with a requirement for own conveyance. Prior experience in pneumatic or engineering goods sales is highly valued, and the candidate should be proficient in

Qualifications

• Visiting direct end industrial clients (50% role).
• Must have own conveyance.
• Education: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical.
• Experience: 3–5 years as sales engineer in engineering company.
• Priority: Pneumatic products sales; also engineering goods/technical sales.

Responsibilities

• Sell capital items or machines to OEMs.
• Cover Ludhiana area with broader Punjab & HP.
• Set up traders/distributors for parent company.
• Read engineering drawings to understand specs.
• Communicate in English, Punjabi, and Hindi.

Job description

• He should be selling engineering / technical mechanical items to OEM’s and the machine tool / packaging industry. Basically, we are not looking for people who have experience only in capital goods.
• He should be able to read engineering drawings.
• Preferable from Pneumatics background and worked with companies
• If not from Pneumatics background, he can have experience in items such as selling Pressure gauges/ rubber products / welding machines / VMC or CNC tools / hydraulic machines or hydraulic power packs/ machine accessories etc
• Another valuable skill would be someone with experience in setting up traders and distributors for the parent company

• Job location: Ludhiana (Area Coverage:- Major focus in Ludhiana, Rest all punjab & some areas of Himachal)
• Priority: – Experience in Pneumatic products sales.
• Second Priority: – Engineering goods sales/ Technical sales /Either machinery / H ydraulic valves or hydraulic products/ Application based technical products / rubber industry
• At least 3-5 years as a sales engineer in an engineering company ( Field sales profile/ Front line sales ) selling capital items or machines. Previous experience with Pneumatic companies is preferable
• Good communication skills with proficiency in English, Punjabi, and Hindi.
