Job summary

ERM Placement Services is seeking a Sales Engineer for Instrumentation & Industrial Automation in Odisha regions including Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Rourkela and Jharsuguda. 7–12 years of experience and BE/B.Tech/Diploma/BSc in Electrical/Instrumentation/Electronics or Physics are required.

You will drive sales of PLC, DCS, SCADA and HMI solutions, build relationships with OEMs, EPCs and end customers, and work to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual targets.

Qualifications

• 7–12 years of experience in sales engineering for industrial automation.
• BE/B.Tech or Diploma or B.Sc. in relevant fields.
• Experience with PLC, DCS, SCADA and HMI devices.
• Strong relationship building with OEMs, EPCs and end customers.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Sales Engineer with strong exposure to Industrial Automation and Instrumentation products such as PLC, DCS, SCADA and HMI. The candidate will be responsible for developing business, managing customer relationships and achieving sales targets across industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales of Industrial Automation products and solutions.


• Develop and manage relationships with OEMs, EPCs and end customers.


• Generate leads, enquiries and new business opportunities.


• Conduct customer meetings and provide technical/product presentations.


• Prepare sales forecasts and achieve monthly, quarterly and annual targets.


• Identify new markets and manage existing customer accounts.

Key Skills

• Industrial communication protocols Profibus, Profinet, Modbus, Ethernet, RS232/RS485.

• Knowledge of Siemens automation products will be an advantage.
