Job summary

Unijet Pneumatics in Hyderabad seeks a field sales engineer to identify new opportunities across South India, visit customer sites, and demonstrate vacuum conveyors and related equipment. You will prepare quotations and coordinate with design/engineering to tailor solutions for customers.

You will build long-term relationships, travel for customer visits, and strive to achieve monthly and annual targets in a hybrid office/field setup with training from an experienced team.

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Production/Mechatronics/Industrial Engineering with relevant coursework.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to explain technical products to customers.
• Ability to build relationships and work in a team to meet targets.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across South India.

Role & responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across South India
• Visit customer sites to understand their material handling needs
• Explain and demonstrate Unijet products (vacuum conveyors, tube lifters, bulk bag unloaders, etc.) to customers
• Prepare and follow up on quotations and proposals
• Coordinate with the design and engineering team to offer the right solution
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
• Keep track of market trends and competitor activity
• Report sales activities and updates to the Sales Manager regularly

Preferred candidate profile

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech Mechanical / Production / Mechatronics / Industrial Engineering
• Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial equipment sales (experience in material handling, pneumatic conveying, or capital equipment is a plus)
• Good communication skills should be comfortable talking to customers and explaining technical products in simple terms
• Willingness to travel across India for customer visits
• Basic knowledge of CRM , MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and a good team player
