Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to generate new business opportunities and increase sales.
• Create and execute sales plans, targets, and promotional strategies.
• Build and nurture relationships with clients to understand needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Identify market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs in welding products & services.
• Stay updated on products and technologies in welding/maintenance and communicate benefits.
• Track sales performance, prepare reports, and present findings to senior management.
• Ensure timely payment collection from direct business and distributors.
• Coordinate with supply chain and production for drawings, jobs, stocks, logistics.

Job description

Job responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

• Business Development: Develop and implement strategies to generate new business opportunities and increase sales.
• Sales Strategy: Create and execute sales plans, including setting targets, developing promotional strategies, and coordinating with the sales team.
• Client Relationships: Build and nurture strong relationships with existing and potential clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Market Research: Identify and analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs in the maintenance and repair welding products & service sector.
• Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest products and technologies in welding and maintenance and effectively communicate their benefits to clients.
• Reporting: Track sales performance, prepare reports, and present findings to senior management.
• Payment: Ensuring timely payment collection from direct business & through distributor.
• Coordination: Coordinate with supply chain and production dept for drawings, jobs, stocks, and logistics.

3-5 years Strong experience in industrial applications across the Cement, Power, Steel, Sugar, or Mining sectors, with a solid background in Maintenance & Repair electrode solutions.
