Job summary

Impetus Techno Solutions LLP in Gujarat seeks an on-field Sales role to visit customer factories daily, demo cutting tools, generate leads, and close orders. You will build customer relationships and meet monthly and quarterly targets while providing on-site technical support.

Candidates with 1–2 years of field sales or technical sales experience, and knowledge of cutting tools and machining processes, are preferred; Diploma or ITI in mechanical trades is desirable, with graduate candidates

Qualifications

• Experience in field sales or technical sales is preferred.
• Knowledge of cutting tools and machining basics is required.
• Willingness to visit customer factories daily and demonstrate products.

Responsibilities

• Visit CNC machine shops daily to demonstrate products and close orders.
• Generate leads, prepare quotations, and achieve sales targets monthly/quarterly.
• Provide on-site application and technical support for tooling needs.
• Understand customer machining requirements and recommend tooling solutions.

Job Type: On-Field Sales Role — Daily Customer Visits Required
Experience: 1 to 2 Years
Field Sales:
This vacancy is field sales and application engineer, involving visiting CNC Machine shop clients to conduct product demonstration and to achieve sales.
Visit customer factories, machine shops, and manufacturing units daily in the assigned territory
Generate new leads and develop business with potential customers
Follow up on enquiries, prepare quotations, and close orders
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
Application & Technical Support:
Understand customer machining requirements — turning, milling, drilling, boring, threading
Recommend the right cutting tool, grade, and parameters for the application
Conduct live cutting tool trials at customer machines
Troubleshoot tool performance issues and provide on-site technical support
Educate customers on correct usage and application of cutting tools
Education
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) — preferred
ITI — Machinist / Turner / Fitter / any mechanical trade
Any Graduate with relevant technical or sales background
Candidates with machine shop experience considered regardless of formal qualification
Skills & Candidate Profile
Experience as Machine Operator, Machine Shop Supervisor, or Purchase Executive — strong advantage
Knowledge of cutting tools — inserts, drills, end mills, taps, boring bars
Understanding of machining processes and parameters
Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working independently in the field
Good communication in local language and Hindi
Basic computer knowledge — Excel, WhatsApp, Email for daily reporting
