Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, invites an experienced EHS professional to lead safety management in chemical plant operations.

You will develop policies, conduct risk assessments, oversee compliance with OSHA/ISO 45001, and drive safety training to prevent incidents. Strong analytical skills for JHA, RCA, CAPA, and incident reporting are essential, with a focus on continuous improvement and KPI tracking.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: Bachelor's or Diploma in Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: 5–7 years in EHS at chemical plants handling solvents and hazardous chemicals.
• Ability to implement safety policies and compliance with regulatory norms.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review and implement safety policies and emergency protocols.
• Conduct risk assessments, JHA, and corrective actions.
• Ensure OSHA and ISO 45001 compliance; perform audits and inspections.
• Investigate incidents and near misses; prepare reports and root cause analyses.
• Organize safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions on PPE and fire safety.
• Monitor daily operations and track safety KPIs; present reports to management.
