Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy is seeking an experienced EHS professional in Pune to lead safety policy development, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance across chemical processes. The role requires hands-on implementation of safety programs, incident investigations, and training to foster a safety-first culture.

Candidates should have 5–7 years of EHS experience in chemical plants, with strong knowledge of ISO 45001 and OSHA standards, and be able to conduct audits and present KPI-based safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s / Diploma in Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field (as required).
• Experience of 5–7 years in EHS in chemical plants handling solvents and hazardous chemicals.
• Knowledge of safety management systems and regulatory standards is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review & implement safety policies, emergency protocols, and safety-first culture.
• Conduct risk assessments, JHA, and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, ISO 45001 and regulatory norms; perform audits & inspections.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, prepare reports & root cause analysis.
• Organize safety training, toolbox talks & awareness sessions on PPE, fire safety & chemicals.
• Monitor daily operations, track safety KPIs & present reports to management.
