Job summary

RGBSI in Chennai seeks an entry-level HSE professional to support safety programs across the power sector.

You will conduct regular safety audits and inspections, help develop and maintain the HSE plan, and train employees and contractors on industrial safety best practices, emphasizing OSHA standards and international guidelines. Collaborate with management to update policies and procedures to keep workplaces safe, and assist with incident investigations and emergency drills.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH or equivalent certification in Health, Safety, Environment (HSE).
• 0-1 year of experience in the power industry or related field.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and international standards for industrial safety (e.g., ADIS).
• Familiarity with fire safety protocols and first aid principles.
