Job summary

Role & responsibilities

Ensure all manufacturing activities comply with company safety policies and statutory regulations. Identify workplace hazards, evaluate risks, and recommend effective preventive control measures. Implement hazard control measures to eliminate or minimize workplace safety risks effectively. Conduct regular workplace inspections and promptly report unsafe conditions for corrective actions. Investigate accidents thoroughly, identify root causes, and recommend preventive corrective measures. Organize safety training programs to improve employee awareness and safe work practices. Coordinate emergency preparedness, evacuation drills, and immediate response during workplace emergencies. Monitor PPE availability, proper usage, maintenance, and timely replacement across departments. Perform internal safety audits ensuring compliance with established standards and procedures consistently. Maintain statutory safety records and ensure compliance with applicable industrial safety laws.

Preferred candidate profile

Safety Regulations- Thorough knowledge of industrial safety laws, statutory compliance, and factory regulations. Risk Assessment Ability to identify workplace hazards, evaluate risks, and implement effective control measures. Incident Investigation – Competence in conducting root cause analysis and recommending preventive actions. Emergency Management – Knowledge of emergency response planning, fire safety, evacuation procedures, and first aid coordination.
