Job summary

Frido in Pune seeks a energetic Retail Trainer to elevate product knowledge, retail excellence, and sales capability across our partner network. You will deliver onboarding and refresher sessions for staff and promoters, develop engaging training materials, and coach teams on upselling and customer engagement.

Travel to stores as required, collaborate with sales and marketing, and track training outcomes through assessments and feedback. Strong communication and PPT/Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in retail training or sales training.
• Experience in consumer products, lifestyle, healthcare, ergonomic, or retail brands preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel for field training.

Responsibilities

• Conduct onboarding and refresher training sessions for retail staff, promoters, and channel partners.
• Educate retail teams on Frido products, features, benefits, and customer use cases.
• Develop training materials including presentations, demo scripts, SOPs, and learning modules.
• Ensure retail teams can confidently demonstrate products and handle customer queries.
• Visit stores regularly to audit product displays, branding visibility, and promoter performance.
• Drive adherence to retail SOPs and customer engagement standards.
• Coach retail teams on upselling and consultative selling techniques.
• Monitor training effectiveness through assessments, mystery audits, and store feedback.
• Collaborate with sales teams to improve retail conversion and customer experience.
• Maintain training calendars, attendance records, and field visit reports.

About the Role

The ideal candidate should be passionate about training, consumer products, and creating engaging learning experiences for retail staff.

Key Responsibilities

Training & Development

• Conduct onboarding and refresher training sessions for retail staff, promoters, and channel partners.
• Educate retail teams on Frido products, features, benefits, and customer use cases.
• Develop training materials including presentations, demo scripts, SOPs, and learning modules.
• Ensure retail teams can confidently demonstrate products and handle customer queries.

Retail Excellence

• Visit stores regularly to audit product displays, branding visibility, and promoter performance.
• Drive adherence to retail SOPs and customer engagement standards.
• Support launch training for new products and campaigns.

Sales Enablement

• Coach retail teams on upselling and consultative selling techniques.
• Monitor training effectiveness through assessments, mystery audits, and store feedback.
• Collaborate with sales teams to improve retail conversion and customer experience.

Reporting & Coordination

• Maintain training calendars, attendance records, and field visit reports.
• Share actionable insights from stores with sales and marketing teams.
• Coordinate with regional managers and distributors for training schedules.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
• 4+years of experience in retail training, field training, or sales training.
• Experience in consumer products, lifestyle, healthcare, ergonomic, or retail brands preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
