Job summary

Ambak is hiring sales leaders to run and grow our retail business across India. You will own a market, build and lead the team, and own the business end to end.

This is a field leadership role in a distribution business - you will be in the market with your team, reading the funnel every day, knowing which input to pull when the output slips, and making the call before the month gets away from you. As a market leader, you will expand channel networks, manage disbursals and cost of acquisition,

Qualifications

• 5–15 years in field sales within a distribution business.
• Owned the business at current level, whatever the size.
• Strong with numbers – you read a funnel and know what to fix.
• Track record of tracking and moving daily input metrics.
• Proven team management: hiring, coaching, and retaining field teams.
• Comfortable in the market, not only in review meetings.

Responsibilities

• Own the market business – disbursals, cost of acquisition, and productivity per head.
• Lead the funnel end to end: partner activation, logins, approvals, and disbursals.
• Monitor daily input metrics – meetings, logins, file quality, TAT – and act, not just report.
• Build and retain a field sales team that delivers month after month.
• Expand channel and partner network across DSAs, builders, and direct sourcing.
• Work with credit, ops, and lender partners to keep files clean and turnaround tight.
• Review discipline – a clear weekly rhythm that your team can predict and prepare for.
