Lenskart in Salem, Tamil Nadu is seeking an entry-level Sales Associate with undergraduate qualifications. You will greet walk-in customers, guide them toward a free eye check-up, and promote eyewear solutions while maintaining the store’s high standards.

The role involves stock takes, processing transactions via the POS system, and delivering excellent service. You will hit sales targets, coordinate with the warehouse for pickups, and keep the store clean and secure.

Formación

• Undergraduate qualification is preferred.
• Retail background or related experience is desirable.
• Willingness to work in a retail environment and meet sales targets.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and welcome walk-in customers and guide them to the clinic for free eye check-up.
• Participate in stock takes, maintain store standards, and support daily tasks to ensure an excellent shopping experience.
• Understand the POS system to ensure smooth and accurate transactions.
• Provide product recommendations and address customer preferences, asking relevant questions to pitch suitable solutions.
• Achieve sales targets, eye-test conversions, and adhere to SOPs; coordinate post-sale with warehouse for product pickup.
• Handle returns by understanding reasons and assisting to minimize return percentages; keep store clean and stocked.
• Maintain store cleanliness and ensure frames and equipment are kept in good condition per SOP.
• Ensure security of store equipment and prevent stock shortages or damage.

Role & responsibilities

• Greeting and welcoming all walk-in customers and guiding them toward the clinic to promote the free eye check-up
• Being involved in stocktakes, maintaining sales floor standards, and other day-to-day tasks to deliver the best shopping experience to the customers
• Understanding the POS system to ensure that the transactions are processed effectively
• Being dedicated to customer satisfaction and resolving any concerns that the customer has Product recommendation
• Presenting the customer with an optimal selection of products based on customer preferences Understanding the unstated needs of the customer, asking relevant questions, and picking the right time to pitch the recommended solutions
• Achieving sales Vs. Plan & SOP adherence Achieving the assigned target for sales, eye-test conversion, returns; and following all SOPs Post making the sale, coordinating with the customer for product pick-up, after receiving due communication from the warehouse.
• In case of returns, he/she is expected to understand the reason and try to resolve the same to control the return percentage. Store upkeep & maintenance
• Maintaining the store as per Lenskart standards, cleaning the frames and other equipment regularly, and ensuring there is no deviation as per the SOP
• Ensuring the security of all Lenskart equipment and that there is no shortage of stock units or damage in the store
