Job summary

LaLiT Group in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our hotel restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and exceptional guest experiences.

You will manage a diverse team, monitor control of costs, uphold hygiene and SOP standards, and coordinate with Kitchen, F&B, and Front Office to deliver seamless service. Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate/Diploma in Hotel Management or related field.
• 5-8 years experience in Food & Beverage operations.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, service standards and F&B controls.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Guest-oriented, proactive and commercially aware.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel restaurant and ensure smooth service.
• Lead, motivate, and develop the restaurant team to deliver high standards of service.
• Ensure excellent guest experience and handle guest feedback and complaints professionally.
• Monitor restaurant sales, revenue, food cost, beverage cost, and operational expenses.
• Ensure compliance with hotel standards, SOPs, hygiene, safety, and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate closely with the Kitchen, F&B, Front Office, and other departments for seamless operations.
• Manage staff scheduling, briefings, training, and performance.
• Drive upselling and other initiatives to maximise restaurant revenue.
• Monitor inventory, wastage, and operational controls.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, service, and cleanliness.
• Support the planning and execution of promotions, events, and special dining experiences.

Candidate Profile

• Graduate/Diploma in Hotel Management or a related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in Food & Beverage operations, preferably in a reputed hotel or upscale restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, service standards, and F&B controls.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Guest-oriented, proactive, and commercially aware.
• Ability to manage and motivate a multicultural team in a fast-paced environment.
