Job summary

AVIAREPS India in Mumbai is seeking a reservations and ticketing professional to support global airline and tourism clients. You will handle bookings, groups, pricing, and inquiries using a GDS system and Excel-based tools.

The role requires experience with airline ticketing (IATA), strong English communication, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced international environment. A modern Mumbai office and global team await.

Qualifications

• Well-versed with MS Office tools.
• Excellent analytical ability.
• Knowledge of Airline-GDS systems (Amadeus/Sabre/Astral).
• Proficient in internet usage.
• Basic Excel knowledge.
• Experience in the tourism sector.
• IATA knowledge and ticketing experience.
• Fluency in English; other languages preferred.
• Punctual and reliable; able to work independently.
• Able to operate in a fast-paced, international environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle reservations and ticketing using the GDS.
• Process ticketing manually or automatically.
• Manage Groups and Allotments.
• Distribute price quotations and information.
• Respond to end-consumer and trade inquiries via calls and emails.
• Provide daily TSR updates for airlines using MS Excel.
• Handle BSP Link inquiries (ADM, ACM, refunds).
• Bi-weekly benchmarking of competitive fares for offices internationally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handling of reservations and ticketing by using the corresponding reservation system (GDS)
• Ticketing manual/automated
• Handling of Groups and Allotments
• Distribution of price quotations and information
• Handling of end-consumer and trade enquiries via calls and emails
• Daily TSR updates for various airlines using Microsoft Excel
• Handling BSP Link enquiries, eg ADM, ACM, Refunds
• Bi-weekly benchmarking competitive fares for offices internationally

Key Skills:
