Synnat Pharma seeks a Research Associate/Sr. Research Associate for Chemical R&D (API/Process Development) in Hyderabad. 0–1 year experience in organic synthesis is preferred; an M.Sc. in Organic or Industrial Chemistry is required. You will drive experiments, optimize reactions for yield and purity, and assist scale-up efforts in a GMP environment.

Responsabilidades

• Execute laboratory experiments for API and key intermediates.

• Perform in-process monitoring and analysis to track reaction progress.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment with proper calibration.
• Support scale-up of processes to pilot or manufacturing scale.
• Maintain detailed technical records and prepare comprehensive reports.
• Ensure GMP compliance and SHE procedures are followed.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Laboratory Experimentation & Synthesis

• Execute a variety of laboratory experiments for the synthesis of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and key intermediates.
• Conduct hands-on organic synthesis reactions, ensuring adherence to established protocols and safety guidelines.
• Perform in-process monitoring and analysis to track reaction progress and identify potential issues.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.

Process Development & Optimization

• Support the optimization of chemical reactions to improve yields, purity, and overall process efficiency.
• Contribute to the development of new synthetic routes and process improvements for API manufacturing.
• Assist in the scale-up of laboratory processes to pilot plant or manufacturing scale, identifying and resolving challenges.
• Analyze experimental data to identify trends, troubleshoot problems, and propose solutions for process enhancement.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate and detailed technical records of all experiments, observations, and results in laboratory notebooks.
• Prepare comprehensive reports summarizing experimental findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
• Document all process parameters, analytical data, and deviations in accordance with internal quality systems.
• Present research findings and progress updates to the R&D team and cross-functional stakeholders.

Quality & Compliance

• Adhere strictly to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) principles and other relevant regulatory guidelines.
• Ensure all laboratory activities comply with safety, health, and environmental (SHE) policies and procedures.
• Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities related to raw materials, intermediates, and APIs.
• Conduct purity analysis of synthesized compounds using various analytical techniques.

Collaboration & Communication

• Collaborate effectively with analytical development, process engineering, and manufacturing teams.
• Communicate technical information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Participate actively in team meetings, contributing ideas and insights to project discussions.
• Work cross-functionally to troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions.
