Job summary

Bajaj Finance Limited is seeking a Branch Manager responsible for leading the branch team, driving growth, and ensuring high-quality operations in the gold loan business in India. You will oversee customer acquisition, field marketing, and compliance while mentoring staff and maintaining branch profitability.

The role requires 4–7 years of relevant experience, a bachelor’s or higher degree, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of relevant experience required.
• Bachelor's Degree/Post-graduation Degree preferred.
• Previous experience in gold loan banking, gold loan products, management or client service preferred.
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall branch operations, performance profitability of the branch.
• Drive and participate in field-marketing activities of various financial products along with the team to improve brand visibility.
• Plan, conduct and monitor the branch field level marketing activities to ensure a healthy pipeline of leads resulting in business conversion and branch growth.
• Focus on customer engagement for new customer acquisitions and retention of existing customers.
• Conducting error-free valuation appraisal of gold ornaments pledged in branch with correct weight and purity assessment as per company policy and auditory compliance.
• Joint custodian of the vault with responsibility for safekeeping of pledged securities as per company policies.
• Responsible for keeping NPAs in control through strong follow-ups from the customers for interest collections.
• Hiring, coaching, mentoring and training employees and providing them with timely feedback on their performance.
• Maintaining quality performance of the business, preparing various reports of the same and taking necessary actions for growth of business in branch.
• Increase Gold Loan business, plus various other third-party products i.e., NCDs, Gold Coins sale etc.
• Responsible for correct valuation and maintenance of 100% process compliance at branch.

Job Summary

This position is open with Bajaj Finance Limited. The Branch manager is a managerial responsibility for providing full leadership and direction to the team of employees in growing business and client base of consumer gold loan. The overall objective of this role is to build customer loyalty and recommend the development of business strategies or initiatives and may include the management of activities by external organizations, and the direct management of individuals.
