The Bajaj Finance Limited Branch Manager role is a leadership position responsible for guiding a team to grow the consumer gold loan business and customer base. You will set strategies, monitor operations, and ensure compliance.

You will drive field marketing, engage customers, oversee valuation of pledged gold, manage NPAs, and mentor staff to deliver a high-quality service while achieving branch growth in Bhucho Mandi, Punjab.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of relevant experience required.
• Bachelor's Degree/Post-graduation Degree preferred.
• Previous experience in gold loan banking, gold loan products, management or client service preferred.
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Oversee branch operations, performance and profitability.
• Lead field marketing activities to boost brand visibility.
• Plan and monitor branch and field marketing to ensure healthy lead pipeline and growth.
• Engage with customers to acquire new and retain existing customers.
• Valuate and appraise pledged gold ornaments for weight and purity per policy and auditory compliance.
• Safekeep pledged securities as joint custodian of the Vault per company policies.
• Keep NPAs in check through diligent follow-ups for interest collection.
• Plan for smooth branch operations and foster team cohesiveness.
• Hire, coach, mentor, train staff and provide timely feedback on performance.
• Maintain quality, performance, and reporting; drive business growth.
• Increase gold loan business and promote third-party products (NCDs, gold coins).
• Ensure 100% process compliance at the branch.
• Maintain accurate valuation and audit compliance for pledged gold.

Job Summary

This position is open with Bajaj Finance Limited. The Branch Manager is a managerial responsibility for providing full leadership and direction to the team of employees in growing business and client base of consumer gold loan. The overall objective of this role is to build customer loyalty and recommend the development of business strategies or initiatives and may include the management of activities by external organizations, and the direct management of individuals.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall branch operations, performance & profitability of the branch.


• Drive & participate in field-marketing activities of various financial products along with the team to improve brand visibility


• Plan, conduct & monitor the branch & field level marketing activities to ensure health pipeline of leads resulting into business conversion & branch growth


• Focus on customer engagement for new customer acquisitions & retainment of old customers


• Conducting error free valuation & appraisal of gold ornaments being pledged in branch with correct weight & purity assessment as per company policy and auditory compliance


• Joint custodian of the Vault with responsibility of safekeeping of pledged securities as per company policies


• Responsible for keeping NPAs in control through strong follow-ups from the customers for interest collections


• Good planning abilities are required for smooth functioning of the branch & for developing cohesiveness within the company and co-workers.


• Hiring, coaching, mentoring and training employees and providing them with timely feedback on their performance


• Maintaining quality & performance of the business, preparing various reports of the same and take necessary actions for growth of business in branch


• Increase Gold Loan business, plus various other third-party products i.e., NCDs, Gold Coins sale etc.


• Responsible for keeping NPAs in control through strong follow-ups from the customers for interest collections.


• Responsible for correct valuation & maintenance of 100% process compliance at branch.


• Manage error free valuation & appraisal of gold ornaments being pledged in branch with correct weight & purity assessment as per company policy and auditory compliance.

Required Qualifications and Experience
