Job summary

Ujjivan Small Finance Bank is seeking a Liabilities-focused role to meet targets through open market acquisition and conversion of existing customers.

The position involves sourcing customers via branch staff leads, referrals, and alternate channels, maintaining a prospects database, and driving borrower-to-liabilities conversion. You will cross-sell secured loans and share feedback with the Sales Manager - Liabilities.

Responsibilities

• Meet liabilities targets via open market acquisition & existing customer conversion.
• Acquire customers meeting liability criteria through branches, referrals, or alternate channels.
• Maintain a database of prospects and manage relationships thereafter.
• Accompany CRS-Unsecured loans on the field to drive conversion of borrowers into liabilities.
• Cross-sell other secured loans and pass quality leads to loan officers.
• Share customer insights/product feedback with the Sales Manager - Liabilities.
• Interact with customers courteously; provide prompt, accurate services.
• Reduce customer dormancy and attrition through ongoing engagement.
• Resolve queries on accounts, FD/RD, remittance & third-party products.
• Guide customers to fill Account Opening Form; ensure receipt and verification of KYC documents.
• Adhere to KYC norms and compliance.
• Drive usage of ATMs, BCs and assist customers to use ATMs for cash withdrawals.

Role & responsibilities

• Meet the set targets on liabilities in terms of open market acquisition & existing customer conversion
• Understand need and acquire customers who meet the criteria for liability products through either of the below channels:
  1. Leads generated by branch staff and personal leads
  2. Referrals generated from existing customers
  3. Alternate channels
• Maintain the database of the prospects, meet select prospects and manage the relationship thereafter
• Accompany CRS-Unsecured loans on the field for actively driving conversion of existing borrowing customers into liabilities customer
• Cross sell other secured loan products of and pass quality leads to respective loan officers
• Share customer insights/product related feedback with the Sales Manager - Liabilities

Customers

• Interact with customers in a courteous and professional manner; provide prompt, efficient and accurate services
• Reduce customer dormancy and customer attrition by continuous engagement / interaction
• Resolves the customer queries on various accounts, FD / RD, remittances & third party product

Internal Processes

• Guide the customer to fill the Account Opening Form’; ensure receipt and verification of KYC documents; obtain customer signatures on all mandatory documents
• Strictly adhere & maintain compliance to KYC norms
• Drive the usage of alternate channels such as ATMs, BCs and assist customers to use ATMs for dispensing cash
