Job summary

Ashoka Buildcon is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor – Railway for our Nashik location. You will handle detailed quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, and tender management for railway infrastructure projects, ensuring accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment.

Ideal candidates will have 5–10+ years in railway projects, GCC/KSA exposure, familiarity with FIDIC contracts, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5–10+ years of experience in quantity surveying for railway or metro infrastructure projects.
• GCC/KSA railway experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of railway civil construction methods, materials, and cost estimation.
• Proficient in quantity surveying software and MS Excel.
• Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and railway tender procedures.
• Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed quantity take-offs for railway civil and structural works from engineering drawings and specifications.
• Prepare and manage BOQs for railway project tenders and contract execution.
• Manage the tender process from start to finish for railway packages.
• Evaluate and analyze tender documents, identifying and highlighting risks and opportunities.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment for railway works.
• Prepare and submit tender documents including bills of quantities and pricing schedules.
• Review and assess subcontractor and supplier quotations for railway-specific trades.
• Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date database of railway tender documentation and pricing.
• Provide full-time back-office support to the KSA railway team.
• Liaise with the Tender Head and KSA team for inputs and reviews.
• Implement risk management strategies to minimize financial exposure.
