Job summary

Kored Infratech in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with strong NH and Railway project exposure to lead quantity estimation, billing, cost control, measurements, BOQ preparation, and coordination with project/site teams.

Responsibilities include preparing RA bills, client and subcontractor bills, quantity reconciliation, and ensuring timely, accurate billing while supporting project teams in cost control and commercial management.

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering is required or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of quantity surveying, billing, and cost control.
• Experience with National Highway and Railway infrastructure projects.
• Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and specifications.
• Proficient in MS Excel and AutoCAD; good with documentation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and verify BOQs, quantity estimates, and rate analysis for NH and Railway works.
• Conduct site measurements and verify quantities executed at site.
• Prepare RA Bills, client bills, subcontractor bills, and measurement sheets.
• Check quantities against approved drawings, BOQ, and contract specifications.
• Monitor project quantities, material consumption, and cost variations.
• Prepare quantity reconciliation and cost reports.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Planning Engineers, and Accounts teams.
• Review drawings and identify quantity variations and additional works.
• Assist in preparation of variation statements, extra items, and deviation statements.
• Maintain proper documentation of measurements, bills, BOQs, and supporting documents.
• Ensure billing is completed accurately and within project timelines.
• Support project teams in cost control and commercial management.
