Job summary

Ashoka Buildcon invites an experienced Estimation Head (Manager Level) to lead pre-tender estimation for major infrastructure projects. The role requires a civil engineering background and 15+ years in estimation for roads, bridges, and utilities, with GCC/KSA exposure.

You will coordinate with design, planning, procurement and execution teams, prepare costings, and mentor a growing estimation group, supporting Saudi standards compliance and client requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering; master's preferred.
• Minimum 15+ years of experience in civil infrastructure estimation.
• Strong knowledge of roads, bridges, highways and utilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end pre-tender estimation for infrastructure projects (Roads, Bridges, Highways, Utilities, Earthworks, etc.).
• Review and analyze tender documents, drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contract conditions.
• Develop cost estimates, rate analysis, and pricing strategies aligned with KSA/GCC market conditions.
• Coordinate with design, planning, procurement, and execution teams to gather inputs for estimation.
• Perform quantity take-offs and validate BOQs with high accuracy.
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations and ensure alignment with project scope.
• Identify project risks, constraints, and opportunities, and incorporate them into pricing strategy.
• Lead value engineering initiatives to optimize project cost without compromising quality.
• Prepare commercial submissions, cost summaries, and tender reports for management approval.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi standards and client requirements.
• Coordinate with the KSA office team for technical clarifications and market inputs.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client interactions (if required).
• Support post-tender clarifications and negotiations.
• Manage and mentor the estimation team, including senior and junior engineers.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, master's degree preferred.
• Minimum 15+ years of experience in estimation for civil infrastructure projects.
• Strong experience in roads, bridges, highways, utilities, and large-scale infrastructure projects.
• GCC/KSA experience is strongly preferred (familiarity with regional market rates and practices).
• Good knowledge of FIDIC contracts and tendering procedures.
• Proficiency in estimation tools, MS Excel, AutoCAD, and Primavera (preferred). Etc.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
