Job summary

Lexa Regional Institute of Construction Services is seeking an experienced Pre-Contract Quantity Surveyor / Estimation Engineer with a minimum of 3 years in building projects, ideally with GCC exposure. The role covers pre-contract quantity surveying, estimation, quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, tender analysis and cost management.

The candidate should review drawings, specs and tender documents, possess strong measurement standards knowledge, and be proficient in MS Excel and QS software.

Qualifications

Preferred candidate profile

We are seeking an experienced Pre-Contract Quantity Surveyor / Estimation Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in building projects within the GCC.

The candidate will be responsible for pre-contract quantity surveying, estimation, quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, tender analysis, and cost management activities.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of measurement standards, construction methods, cost estimation, with practical experience in preparing tender documentation and cost estimates.

Review drawings, specifications, scope of work, and tender documents to identify quantities, requirements, and potential cost implications.

Proficiency in MS Excel and relevant quantity surveying/estimation software with strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under deadlines.

Posses good communication and coordination skills.

Experience in pre-contract quantity surveying and estimation for commercial, residential, industrial, hospitality, mixed-use, or other building projects in the GCC will be highly advantageous.
