Job summary

Owlstip in Kozhikode, India seeks an Estimation Engineer to support construction projects in Qatar. The role focuses on preparing BOQs, QTO, MTO, and project cost estimates, while coordinating with the Qatar-based commercial and project teams.

You will review tender documents, work with suppliers and subcontractors, and ensure accurate tender submissions on time. GCC/Qatar project experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years of experience in construction estimation and tendering.
• Ability to read construction drawings and specifications; proficiency in Excel and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings, BOQs, and specifications.
• Prepare quantity take-offs (QTO), material take-offs (MTO), BOQs and cost estimates.
• Prepare tender pricing and bid documents; coordinate with Qatar team during tender process.
• Obtain and compare supplier/subcontractor quotations; maintain tender records.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing BOQs, quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and tender documents while working closely with our Qatar-based commercial and project teams. If you have a strong understanding of construction estimation, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering accurate project costs, we'd love to hear from you.## Key Responsibilities* Review tender documents, drawings, BOQs, and specifications.* Prepare quantity take-offs (QTO) and material take-offs (MTO).* Prepare BOQs and project cost estimates.* Perform rate analysis for labour, materials, and subcontract works.* Prepare tender pricing and bid documents.* Coordinate with the Qatar team during the tender process.* Obtain and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations.* Maintain estimation records and tender documentation.* Support budget preparation, variation orders, and cost analysis.* Ensure tenders are submitted accurately and on time.## Requirements & Qualifications* Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Equivalent* 2-3 years of experience in construction estimation and tendering.* Knowledge of BOQ preparation, QTO, and cost estimation.* Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD.* Good analytical and communication skills* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.* GCC/Qatar project experience is an added advantage.
