Job summary

Hubtown Seasons in Mumbai seeks a skilled Cost Estimator with strong knowledge of quantity surveying and construction costing. The role focuses on preparing detailed take-offs, costing, BOQs, and reviewing contractor bills.

You will coordinate with project teams, evaluate changes, and support tender and contract documentation, ensuring timely and accurate cost control across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of quantity surveying and construction costing.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and ERP software (SAP/Oracle preferred).
• Good understanding of BOQs, contracts, and billing procedures.
• Knowledge of IS Codes, DSR, and market rates.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications.
• Estimate project costs and prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities).
• Review and verify contractor and subcontractor bills.
• Monitor project costs against approved budgets.

• Track material consumption and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare cost reports, MIS reports, and project cash flow projections.
• Ensure compliance with contractual terms and company policies.
• Support final account settlement and project closure.
