Job summary

Tracks & Towers Infratech Pvt. Ltd. in Raichur, Karnataka is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) with 6–9 years of experience in Railway, Building, Infrastructure, or EPC projects.

You will lead quantity estimation, BOQ preparation, billing, cost monitoring, and commercial coordination at project sites. The role requires strong site-based exposure to measurements, billing, and reading Civil/Structural drawings, along with excellent coordination with site, planning, and accounts teams.

Qualifications

• 6–9 years of quantity surveying/billing experience.
• Strong site-based experience with measurements and billing.
• Experience in Railway and Building project backgrounds preferred.
• Proficient reading of Civil/Structural drawings.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQs, and detailed estimates.
• Prepare and verify RA Bills / IPCs and ensure timely submission.
• Prepare, check, and certify Subcontractor Bills.
• Verify quantities at site through MB.
• Monitor project quantities against BOQ and variations.
• Prepare Rate Analysis for construction activities.
• Track extra items, deviations, and variation orders.
• Coordinate with Site Execution, Planning, Engineering, and Accounts/Commercial teams.
• Review drawings, BOQs, specifications, and amendments for quantity and cost.
• Assist in cost control, budget monitoring, and reconciliation.
• Maintain records of material consumption, quantities, and billing status.
• Support monthly MIS and commercial reports.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams on billing matters.
• Ensure all measurements and billing documents are accurate.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) with 69 years of experience in Railway, Building, Infrastructure, or EPC projects. The candidate will be responsible for quantity estimation, BOQ preparation, billing, cost monitoring, subcontractor billing, and commercial coordination at the project site.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQs, and detailed estimates based on drawings and specifications.
• Prepare and verify Client RA Bills / IPCs and ensure timely submission.
• Prepare, check, and certify Subcontractor Bills as per work executed.
• Verify quantities at site through measurements and Measurement Books (MB).
• Monitor project quantities against BOQ and identify quantity variations.
• Prepare Rate Analysis for various construction activities.
• Track extra items, deviations, and variation orders and maintain proper documentation.
• Coordinate with Site Execution, Planning, Engineering, and Accounts/Commercial teams.
• Review drawings, BOQs, specifications, and amendments for quantity and cost implications.
• Assist in cost control, budget monitoring, and reconciliation of project quantities.
• Maintain records of material consumption, work quantities, and billing status.
• Support preparation of monthly MIS and commercial reports.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams for quantity and billing-related matters.
• Ensure all measurements and billing documents are accurate and properly documented.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Quantity Surveying and Billing.
• Hands-on experience in RA Bills / IPC, MB, BOQ, Quantity Take-off, and Rate Analysis.
• Good understanding of Civil Construction and Infrastructure works.
• Experience in Client and Subcontractor Billing.
• Knowledge of Variation Orders, Extra Items, and Quantity Reconciliation.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
• Ability to read and interpret Civil/Structural drawings.
• Strong analytical, coordination, and documentation skills.

Preferred Project Experience

Candidates with experience in any of the following projects will be preferred:

Qualification

B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.

Candidate Profile

• 6 to 9 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying / Billing.
• Strong site-based experience with hands-on exposure to measurements and billing.
• Candidates from Railway and Building project backgrounds are preferred.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Willingness to work at the Raichur, Karnataka project site.
• Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period will be preferred.
