Job summary

Talent Corner Hr Services is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor (Civil) for our Bangalore location. You will manage all commercial and contractual activities on civil construction projects, including quantity estimation, billing, cost control, subcontract management, and ERP-based project tracking.

Key responsibilities include preparing BOQs and estimates, certifying client bills, verifying subcontractor payments, monitoring budgets, handling variation orders, and maintaining ERP data and MIS

Qualifications

• B.E / B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 5–8 years of civil construction experience.
• Experience in buildings, infrastructure, or EPC projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Quantity Surveying and BOQ preparation.
• Very good proficiency in ERP systems (mandatory).
• Strong MS Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Quantity Surveying & Estimation: Prepare and verify BOQ, quantity take-offs, and cost estimates from drawings.
• Billing & Measurement: Prepare and certify client RA bills; verify subcontractor bills and measurements.
• Cost Control: Monitor project budget vs actual cost; track material, labor, and subcontractor costs.
• Contract & Variation Management: Assist in variation orders and claims; maintain records of contractual changes.
• ERP & Reporting: Maintain project commercial data in ERP; generate MIS reports and billing summaries.
• Coordination: Work with project managers, planning engineers, site teams, procurement, and finance for payments.

Senior Quantity Surveyor (Civil)

Location: Bangalore- Yehalanka n Horamavu

Salary : 60,000 – 65,000 per month

Experience : 5-8 yrs

Role Summary

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing all commercial and contractual activities of civil construction projects, including quantity estimation, billing, cost control, subcontract management, and ERP-based project tracking. The role ensures accurate cost management and timely certification of client and subcontractor bills.

Key Responsibilities

Quantity Surveying & Estimation

• Prepare and verify BOQ, quantity take-offs, and cost estimates from drawings.
• Support tendering process with rate analysis and cost inputs.
• Review drawings, specifications, and identify quantity variations.

Billing & Measurement

• Prepare and certify client RA bills.
• Verify subcontractor bills and ensure correctness of measurements.
• Coordinate with site engineers for joint measurements and progress updates.

Cost Control

• Monitor project budget vs actual cost.
• Track material, labor, and subcontractor costs.
• Highlight cost variations and support corrective actions.

Contract & Variation Management

• Assist in preparation of variation orders and claims.
• Maintain records of contractual changes, extras, and delays.
• Support contract administration and documentation.

ERP & Reporting

• Maintain all project commercial data in ERP systems.
• Generate MIS reports, cost reports, and billing summaries.
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry in ERP for project tracking.

Coordination

• Work closely with project managers, planning engineers, and site teams.
• Coordinate with procurement and finance teams for payments and reconciliations.

Requirements

Education

• B.E / B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering

Experience

• 5–8 years of experience in civil construction projects.
• Experience in buildings, infrastructure, or EPC projects preferred.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of Quantity Surveying and BOQ preparation
• Hands-on experience in Client Billing and Subcontract Billing
• Strong understanding of Cost Control and Contract Management
• Very good proficiency in ERP systems (mandatory)
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Knowledge of AutoCAD preferred
• Strong analytical and documentation skills
