Job summary

Gopalan Commercials is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage cost control, quantify measurements, contract administration, and weekly labour billing for commercial construction projects in Bangalore. You will support delivery of structural and finishing works within approved budgets, while ensuring quality and adherence to specifications.

The role requires 5–10 years of relevant experience, strong site exposure, and proficiency with drawings and Excel for reporting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
• 5–10 years of experience in commercial building projects.
• Strong site experience in structure and finishing works.
• Hands-on experience with billing, measurements, and labour control.
• Comfortable working with site teams and handling multiple activities.
• Good understanding of drawings, Excel and basic reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly labour bills for manpower on site.
• Check labour attendance, timesheets, and daily labour and progress reports.
• Match labour billing with actual work completed.
• Monitor labour productivity and inform the project team of issues.
