Job summary

Paanayil Heavy Engineering Projects in Bengaluru is seeking a diligent Quantity Surveying/Cost Control support professional to assist in cost estimation and billing activities across HVAC, electrical, and ELV systems.

You will take-offs, prepare BOQs, support progress valuations, and coordinate with site and procurement teams to resolve quantity discrepancies. The role involves close collaboration with design and subcontractor teams in a dynamic project environment.

Responsibilities

• Take-offs from drawings for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and ELV systems.
• Assist in preparing BOQs, tender docs, and cost estimates.
• Support subcontractor payment apps, progress measurements, and interim valuations.
• Track material reconciliations, variations, and project expenses.
• Coordinate with site, procurement, and design teams to resolve discrepancies.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Quantity Take-offs: Perform accurate measurement and take-offs from drawings for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and ELV (Extra Low Voltage) systems.
• BOQ Preparation: Assist in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs), tender documentation, and cost estimates.
• Billing Support: Help prepare and verify subcontractor payment applications, progress measurements, and interim valuations.
• Cost Tracking: Assist in tracking material reconciliations, variations, and project expense logs.
• Coordination: Liaise with site, procurement, and design teams, as well as subcontractors, to clarify technical or quantity discrepancies.
