Job summary

CIRCOR International, Inc. in India is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform final inspection and documentation of valves and finished goods, review test plans and drawings, and ensure compliance with ASME/ISO standards.

You will read drawings, use GD&T, and record results while collaborating with production and engineering to drive continuous improvement and CAPA.

Qualifications

• Good communication and ability to manage suppliers, teams.
• Knowledge of industry standards such as ASTM, ASME, BS EN and ISO systems like ISO 9001/14001/45001.
• Proficiency in using inspection tools and interpreting GD&T.
• Basic computer skills (MS Excel, Word, ERP systems).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Final inspection and Documentation of Valves and Finished Goods.

POSITION DETAILS

Position Summary

• Final inspection and Documentation of Valves and Finished Goods
• Review Approved Inspection test plans, Project related approved procedures, Approved General Arrangement Drawing and its compliance including reporting.
• Perform Dimensional and Visual inspections of valves and its related components.
• Perform Witness Assembly and testing activities as per valve Test procedures & Standards.
• Participate in Validation testing witnesses, Assembly related problem solving and disposals.
• Proficiency in handling instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, 2D Height gauge and Measuring skills
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and valve-related standards (e.g., FCI, API, ANSI, ASME, BS EN) and can review material test certificates.
• Record inspection results, Create inspection reports, Quality documentation and maintain quality documentation.
• Identify non-conformities and assist in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
• Collaborate with Production, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure product quality and process compliance.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge Skills & Abilities

Education & Experience

Any Graduate or Diploma with minimum 3 to 4 years experience or Bachelorin Engineering (BE) –Mechanical / Production / Industrial with minimum 2 to 3 years experience in Mechanical inspections or Quality control activities.
