Job summary

Xdlinx Labs is seeking a Mech QC professional with 5–10 years of experience in mechanical quality control. The role involves inspecting materials, processes, and products to meet specifications, preparing inspection documentation, and collaborating with design and vendors to reduce errors and implement process controls.

You will help develop and maintain the QMS, conduct internal audits, and drive quality improvements across manufacturing. Strong GD&T, ASME Y14.5 and ISO knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

  • Part inspection including layout, in process, final and receiving using all types of mechanical inspection.
  • Prepare Inspection reports.
  • Develop inspection and work instructions.
  • Hands-on experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and testing methodologies
  • In-depth understanding of technical documentation
  • Good knowledge of materials & manufacturing processes
  • Experience in GD&T & ASME Y14.5
  • ASQ certification preferred.
  • Min 2+ years of experience in quality engineering, quality assurance, or a similar role.
  • Coordination and performance of internal process/product audits
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Inspecting and testing materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met.
  • Prepare Inspection documentation for material, drawing, fabricated parts & equipment.
  • Part inspection, including: layout, in process, final, and receiving using all types of mechanical inspection
  • Collaborating with design & drafting and manufacturer vendor to minimise assembly & manufacturing error and implement controls and improvements.
  • Investigate product quality in order to make improvements to achieve better customer satisfaction, Plan, create and manage the overall Quality Planning strategy
  • In-ward material inspection and GRN preparation.
  • Stage vise inspection for material / parts.
  • Identify quality assurance process bottleneck and suggest actions for improvement.
  • On-site inspections visits are mandatory as and when required.
  • Determine quality metrics for all manufacturing parts & process involve.
  • Review approved mechanical drawings, and ensure compliance as per the ASME TY14.5 specifications.
  • Developing and implementing quality control systems.
  • Monitoring and analysing quality performance.
  • Identify the root of technical issues and recommend fixes
  • Process inspection verifying work order requirements, 5S, ESD, screw torque, equipment temperature, and humidity, etc.
  • Implementation of ISO documentation records.
  • Audit our systems based on ISO 9001:2015 / AS 9100 requirements.
  • Update our Quality Management System (QMS) with incidents, fixes and improvements.
