Job summary

Paranjape Autocast is seeking a Quality Engineer to safeguard GDC, LPDC, centrifugal foundry and powder coating quality. You will identify casting and coating defects, apply CAPA, and drive continuous improvement across in-process and final inspections.

Candidates should have strong knowledge of quality tools and documentation, ensuring adherence to foundry quality standards and robust process control.

Qualifications

• GDC (Gravity Die Casting) Foundry Quality knowledge required.
• LPDC (Low Pressure Die Casting) Quality knowledge required.
• Centrifugal Foundry / Casting Quality understanding essential.
• Powder Coating Quality knowledge including inspection.
• Casting Defect Analysis and CAPA implementation experience.
• In-process and final inspection expertise.
• Experience with quality tools: 7 QC Tools, RCA, 5 Why, Fishbone, Poka-Yoke.
• Knowledge of Foundry Quality Standards and Documentation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure GDC/LPDC and powder coating quality processes are followed.
• Identify and analyse casting and coating defects and initiate corrective actions.
• Lead CAPA investigations and preventive actions.
• Perform in-process and final inspections per standards.
• Utilize quality tools for problem solving and root cause analysis.
• Maintain quality documentation and compliance with standards.

Role & responsibilities :-

Quality Engineer GDC / LPDC / Powder Coating / Centrifugal Foundry.

Preferred candidate profile

• Should have sound knowledge of GDC (Gravity Die Casting) Foundry Quality and related quality control processes.
• Should have good knowledge of LPDC (Low Pressure Die Casting) Quality and process control.
• Should have a strong understanding of casting quality parameters, defects, inspection methods, and corrective actions.
• Should have knowledge of Centrifugal Casting / Centrifugal Foundry Quality and related process requirements.
• Should have knowledge of Powder Coating Quality, including process parameters, inspection, and defect analysis.
• Should be capable of identifying and analysing casting and coating defects and implementing appropriate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Knowledge of quality tools such as 7 QC Tools, Root Cause Analysis, 5 Why, Fishbone Analysis, and Poka-Yoke will be preferred.
• Should have knowledge of in-process and final inspection, documentation, and maintaining quality standards.
• Experience in Foundry / Casting Industry Quality will be preferred.
