TVS Motor Company in Tamil Nadu seeks a quality and reliability engineer to drive supplier QA, DFMEA and process improvements across EV and DC-DC converter programs. You will read drawings, coordinate with suppliers, and sign off requirements to ensure regulatory and TVS quality standards are met.

The role emphasizes hands-on problem solving, data-driven root-cause analysis (8D/QC) and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, cost-effective parts for mass production.

Competenze

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills (QCstory/8D) and ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues.
• Knowledge of EV charger and DC-DC converter product and process.
• Familiarity with AIS, ISO and IEC automotive standards.

Key Responsibilities

• 1. Read drawings and understand functional importancetowards product performance
• 2.Discuss and signoff system requirments with allstakeholders and suppliers
• 3. Participate in DFMEA, DFM, DFA &DFS reviews and sharefeedback.
• 4. Prepare past failure data of products and implement it in new productsduring development
• 5. Product and process benchmarking
• 6. Review & signoff supplier DVP for adequacy as TSES
• 7. LOI and quality requirments (warranty & serviceagreement )signoff with suppliers
• 8. Ensure that all parts meet regulatory, safety andcustomer-specific quality standards, including relevant certifications (e.g.,AIS, ISO, IEC & TVSM standards etc.).
• 9. Responsible for conducting QMS audits for supplierevaluation & onboarding of new vendor/supplier.
• 10. Responsible for conducting PPAP audits to qualify partfor mass production"
• 11. Review and provide feedback on product requirements& drawings with designer at every stage of product development.
• 12. Identifying and documenting defects during developmentphase and post launch of product and ensuring they are resolved in a timelymanner using QCS/8D.
• 13. Establish process parameter suitable to PQDCSME
• 14. product proving; dimensional ,fucntional,safety andappearance,Gauge, Fixtures, Tools development
• 15. Develop part thru SPR process at every stage of productdevelopment as per timeline
