Job summary

TVS Motor Company in Tamil Nadu is seeking a Quality Inspector to identify major failure modes and resolve them timely, while ensuring products meet standards across the assembly line.

The role covers process and product audits, countermeasure implementation for direct vehicle passes, and training inspectors. It also includes QA audits, SOP adherence, and KPI tracking aligned to MPCP within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify the major failure modes and resolve them on time.
• Ensure outgoing products as per standards.
• Eliminate customer complaints by effective implementation of M2 / M3.
• Process & Product audit NC closure - Vehicle assembly.
• Analysis & taking countermeasures to improve vehicle direct pass.
• Final product inspection, booking and countermeasures.
• Training to new inspectors on inspection points / method & check points.
• AQI & FQI audit and score reduction.
• Train and motivate Quality Engineers and Inspectors for TEI and Kaizen participation.
• Audit Quality Engineers for adherence to DWM and SOP adequacy.
• Adherence to To do list and applicable SOP.
• Exploration on digital initiatives aligning to MPCP.
• Track and report Key Quality Indicators aligning to MPCP.
