Job summary

Jungheinrich India is seeking a regulatory compliance specialist to help ensure BIS adherence for spare parts. You will coordinate with headquarters and external consultants to clarify BIS requirements and support registration processes.

The role involves liaising with suppliers and internal teams to assess exemptions, identify domestic manufacturers, and explore local sourcing opportunities aligned with defined BIS schemes.

Responsibilities

• Achieve clarity on regulatory BIS requirements
• Collaborate with headquarters to provide information and clarifications, liaising with external consultants
• Support registering overseas suppliers of spare parts under BIS Schemes; explore exemptions and apply with data/authorities
• Act as point of contact to support the company’s internal SAS team and overseas suppliers
• Explore feasibility of identifying domestic Indian manufacturers for spare parts based on defined requirements

Job description

• Achieve clarity on regulatory BIS requirements
• Collaboration with headquarters to provide information and clarifications needed on this subject matter whilst liaising with external consultants.
• Supporting the objective of registering overseas suppliers of spare parts under relevant BIS Schemes;Explore the possibility of exemptions, if any. Work with data and consultants to apply to authorities.
• Acting as the point of contact to support the Company’s internal team (SAS) and the overseas suppliers;
• Exploring and assessing the feasibility of identifying domestic (Indian) manufacturers for spare parts, based on the defined requirements, if the Company considers pursuing local sourcing.
