Job summary

Ficus Pax in Bengaluru, Karnataka, is seeking an experienced Purchase & Procurement professional to manage end-to-end procurement of raw materials, packaging, consumables, spares and engineering items.

You will review requisitions, obtain quotations, negotiate terms, develop a reliable vendor base and ensure procurement aligns with budgets and production schedules, while identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong purchase and stores leadership experience.
• Commercial understanding and negotiation capability.
• Ability to ensure uninterrupted material availability while controlling procurement costs.
• Experience reviewing requisitions and timely procurement as per production needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement of raw materials, packing materials, consumables, spares, engineering items and general materials.

• Develop and maintain a reliable and cost-effective vendor base.

• Monitor open POs and follow up with suppliers for timely delivery.
• Identify cost-saving and alternate sourcing opportunities.
• Ensure procurement is within approved budgets and company policies.
