Job Summary

We are looking for a Purchase Executive to manage the procurement of materials, products, and services required for the company's projects and day-to-day operations. The candidate will be responsible for vendor coordination, quotation comparison, purchase orders, timely delivery, and maintaining proper purchase records.

Job Description

• Identify and coordinate with suppliers and vendors for required materials and services.
• Collect quotations from multiple vendors and prepare comparative statements.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial terms.
• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) as per approved requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Follow up on pending orders, deliveries, and material requirements.
• Coordinate with the Store, Site, Accounts, and Project teams regarding procurement requirements.
• Verify purchase specifications, quantity, quality, and rates before placing orders.
• Maintain proper records of quotations, purchase orders, invoices, and vendor details.
• Develop and maintain a reliable vendor/supplier database.
• Monitor market prices and identify cost-effective purchasing opportunities.
• Resolve vendor-related issues regarding quality, quantity, delivery, and billing.
• Ensure procurement is carried out according to company policies and approval procedures.
• Prepare regular purchase and procurement reports for Management.

Eligibility & Requirements

• Education: Graduate in any discipline; Diploma/Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Commerce, or related field preferred.
• Experience: 13 years of experience in Purchase/Procurement preferred.
• Age: 21–35 years.
• Two-Wheeler: Must have a valid two-wheeler and driving licence for local vendor visits and procurement-related work.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
• Good negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong vendor management and follow-up skills.
• Good knowledge of purchase documentation and basic commercial terms.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple requirements.
• Knowledge of construction materials and procurement will be an advantage.
