Job summary

JobItUs is seeking a procurement professional in Vadodara to handle project material procurement, vendor development and cost control. You will coordinate with engineering and projects teams, process POs and manage supplier invoices to ensure timely delivery of materials.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in procurement, strong negotiation skills, and exposure to SAP/ERP systems to support EPC and fire protection projects.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering background preferred.
• 2-5 years experience in Purchase/Procurement in Fire Protection, MEP, EPC, Engineering or Project-based industries.
• Experience in project material procurement and vendor development.
• Strong price negotiation and cost-control capabilities.
• Proficient in PO processing, PR-to-PO conversion, vendor coordination, GRN and invoicing coordination.
• Good negotiation, communication and coordination skills.

Key Requirements:

• Mechanical Engineering background is preferred, as the role involves procurement related to fire protection/project materials.
• 2-5 years of experience in Purchase/Procurement, preferably in Fire Protection, MEP, EPC, Engineering or Project-based industries.
• Good knowledge of project material procurement, vendor development, price negotiation and cost control.
• Experience in PO processing, PR-to-PO conversion, vendor coordination, GRN and invoice coordination.
• Ability to identify and develop reliable vendors and ensure timely delivery of project materials.
• Good understanding of technical/project requirements and coordination with Engineering, Projects, Stores and Accounts teams.
• Experience with SAP/ERP systems will be preferred.
• Candidate should have good negotiation, communication and coordination skills.
