Job summary

Loyka in Navi Mumbai seeks an experienced Purchase & Operations Manager to oversee procurement, vendor relationships, inventory, logistics, dispatch and outlet operations. The role focuses on ensuring smooth material flow between the central kitchen, vendors and outlets, and coordinating NSO activities for new store openings.

You will manage a team of drivers and support staff, monitor daily operations, and drive improvements across procurement, logistics and outlet setup to support rapid growth

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience in Purchase, Procurement and Operations Management.
• Hospitality industry experience is mandatory.
• Experience in QSR, Restaurant Chains or Food & Beverage operations preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Mumbai routes and local vendor networks.
• Proficient in MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement of front-end materials and store supplies.
• Identify, evaluate and negotiate with vendors to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and transport vendors.
• Coordinate daily van deliveries from the Central Kitchen to outlets and movements to outlets.

Job Description Purchase & Operations Manager

1. About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Purchase & Operations Manager with a strong background in the Hospitality industry to manage procurement, vendor relationships, inventory, logistics, dispatch and outlet operations.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth material movement between the Central Kitchen, vendors and outlets, managing daily operational requirements and coordinating procurement and setup activities for new store openings.

2. Roles & Responsibilities

Purchase & Procurement

• Manage end-to-end procurement of front-end materials, stationery, store supplies and operational requirements.
• Identify, evaluate and negotiate with vendors to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and transport vendors.
• Ensure timely availability of materials across all outlets.

Logistics & Dispatch Management

• Coordinate daily van deliveries from the Central Kitchen to various outlets.
• Manage the movement of materials to existing outlets and new stores.
• Supervise drivers and helpers and ensure timely deliveries.
• Monitor transportation schedules and resolve delivery-related issues.

Inventory & Store Management

• Manage central store inventory and maintain accurate stock records.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment.
• Maintain inward and outward stock records.
• Ensure materials are issued against approved outlet requirements.
• Implement proper inventory control procedures.

New Store Opening (NSO)

• Manage procurement and logistics requirements for new store openings.
• Ensure timely availability and delivery of all required materials and supplies.
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors and outlet teams for smooth store setup.

Team & Operations Management

• Lead and supervise drivers, helpers and support staff.
• Monitor daily operational activities and ensure process compliance.
• Coordinate with outlet managers and internal departments.
• Identify operational gaps and implement process improvements.

3. Qualifications & Experience

• Graduate in any discipline.
• 6-8 years of relevant experience in Purchase, Procurement and Operations Management.
• Hospitality industry experience is mandatory.
• Experience in QSR, Restaurant Chains, Cafs or Food & Beverage operations will be highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Mumbai routes and local vendor networks.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
• Proven experience in vendor management, inventory control, logistics and team handling.
