Location is Hyderabad with additional sites in Warangal and Bengaluru. Immediate joiners encouraged; strong Excel and negotiation skills are essential for controlling costs and maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate or Diploma in Hotel Management or a relevant qualification.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in F&B Purchase/Procurement.
• Experience in hotels, resorts, restaurants, or hospitality environments preferred.
• Strong vendor network and negotiation skills.
• Good knowledge of purchase documentation and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Procure food, beverages, groceries, and hotel consumables per departmental needs.
• Source quality products from approved vendors at best pricing and terms.
• Prepare and process purchase orders per procurement policies.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships and evaluate performance.

Greetings from RAD Resources. The 4 Star Hotel is looking for the Purchase Manager Food and Beverage (Positions: 5) who is responsible for planning, sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing all food, beverage, kitchen, restaurant, banquet, and operating supplies required for the hotel.

Salary: 35-37,000/month

Location: Hyderabad, Warangal, Bengaluru

Facilities Provided: PF, Food is provided in working hours

Responsibilities

Procurement & Sourcing

• Procure food items, beverages, groceries, meat, seafood, dairy products, fruits, vegetables, and hotel consumables as per departmental requirements.
• Source quality products from approved vendors while achieving the best pricing and terms.
• Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate contracts with suppliers.
• Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with hotel procurement policies.

Vendor Management

• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and distributors.
• Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, pricing, delivery schedules, and service levels.
• Identify and onboard new suppliers to improve product quality and cost efficiency.
• Ensure vendors comply with food safety and hospitality industry standards.

Inventory & Cost Control

• Monitor inventory levels for restaurants, bars, banquets, kitchens, and stores.
• Coordinate with Executive Chef, F&B Manager, and Store Department for ordering requirements.
• Minimise wastage, stock shortages, and overstock situations.
• Analyse consumption trends and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
• Support monthly inventory audits and stock reconciliations.

Quality Assurance

• Ensure all purchased products meet hotel quality, hygiene, and brand standards.
• Verify received goods against purchase orders and specifications.
• Coordinate with receiving and store teams to inspect product quality and quantity.
• Address quality issues and supplier discrepancies promptly.

Financial & Administrative Duties

• Monitor purchasing budgets and food cost targets.
• Prepare procurement reports, cost analyses, and vendor evaluations.
• Maintain accurate purchase records, contracts, invoices, and supplier databases.
• Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes.

Compliance

• Ensure adherence to hotel procurement procedures and financial controls.
• Maintain compliance with local food safety regulations and hotel policies.
• Participate in internal and external audits related to procurement and inventory management.

Required Skills

• Any Graduate / Diploma in Hotel Management or a relevant qualification
• Minimum 35 years of relevant experience in F&B Purchase/Procurement.
• Experience in a hotel, resort, restaurant, catering company, or hospitality environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of F&B products and hotel purchasing requirements.
• Good vendor network and negotiation skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and purchase-related documentation.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
