Job summary

Aditya Group India is seeking an experienced Purchase Head to lead procurement for Hospitality and Confectionery divisions. You will manage end-to-end sourcing of food, raw materials, packaging, and consumables, while ensuring quality, competitive pricing and timely availability.

The role requires strong vendor management, price benchmarking, and cross-functional collaboration across Operations, Production and Finance to optimise inventory and costs.

Qualifications

• End-to-end procurement of F&B raw materials, ingredients, packaging, consumables and operational supplies.
• Strong vendor relationships with suppliers, manufacturers and distributors.
• Negotiate and onboard vendors based on quality, pricing, service levels and delivery.
• Obtain and compare quotations; conduct price benchmarking and commercial negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain updated databases of vendors, quotations, product specs, rates, purchase history and market prices.
• Ensure timely procurement per production, outlets and operations while optimizing inventory.
• Coordinate with Operations, Production, F&B, Kitchen, Stores, Finance and Management to understand procurement needs.
• Monitor vendor performance, delivery timelines, product quality and compliance with terms.
• Develop alternate sourcing options to minimize supply disruptions.
• Review purchasing patterns and identify opportunities for cost optimization and procurement efficiency.
• Prepare and analyse procurement reports, MIS, and purchase data using MS Excel.
• Ensure proper documentation and systematic maintenance of all procurement records.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and procurement planning for Hospitality and Confectionery operations.

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Purchase Head to lead procurement activities for our Hospitality and Confectionery divisions. The role will be responsible for end-to-end sourcing and procurement of food, raw materials, packaging materials, consumables, and other operational requirements while ensuring quality, competitive pricing, timely availability, and effective vendor management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement of F&B raw materials, ingredients, packaging materials, consumables, and operational supplies.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, manufacturers, and distributors.
• Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and onboard reliable vendors based on quality, pricing, service levels, and delivery capabilities.
• Obtain and compare quotations from multiple vendors and conduct price benchmarking and commercial negotiations.
• Maintain updated databases of vendors, quotations, product specifications, rates, purchase history, and market prices.
• Ensure timely procurement as per production, outlet, and operational requirements while maintaining optimum inventory levels.
• Coordinate with Operations, Production, F&B, Kitchen, Stores, Finance, and Management to understand procurement requirements.
• Monitor vendor performance, delivery timelines, product quality, and compliance with agreed commercial terms.
• Develop alternate sourcing options and maintain a reliable vendor base to minimize supply disruptions.

• Ensure proper documentation and systematic maintenance of all procurement records.

• Ensure procurement is aligned with company policies, approval processes, quality standards, and commercial requirements.

Key Skills Required

• Strong experience in F&B Procurement / Purchase Management.
• Excellent knowledge of raw-material procurement for Hospitality, Restaurants, Hotels, Bakeries, Confectionery, or Food Production.
• Strong Vendor Management and Negotiation Skills.
• Good understanding of market research, price benchmarking, and supplier evaluation.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, including data management, analysis, comparative statements, and MIS reporting.
• Strong data maintenance and documentation skills.
• Ability to analyse quotations and make commercially sound procurement decisions.
• Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple procurement requirements across different locations/divisions.

Preferred Background

"Candidates from Hospitality, Restaurant Chains, Hotels, Bakery, Confectionery, Food Manufacturing, FMCG, or Food Service Procurement backgrounds will be preferred."
